The historical significance of The Tremont House, and recognition that it is an architectural treasure, has been cast - not in stone, but in bronze - on an Ohio Historical Marker.  The Marker was acquired thanks to a grant from the William G. Pomeroy Foundation through the Ohio History Connection (formerly the Ohio Historical Society).  It will be installed on the North West Street side of the building.

Dedication of the Marker will take place on Saturday, June 25, at 1:00pm during Bellevue's Commmunity Days Celebration.  Representatives from the Ohio History Connection and the Pomeroy Foundation will be invited to participate.  Mayor Strecker will also help us mark this occasion.
Please join us to celebrate the placement of this Historical Marker showcasing The Tremont House.  A reception will follow at the Society offices at 108 North West Street.
