The Bellevue Historical Society has received exciting news!  The Sandusky County Communities Foundation has issued us a challenge grant that will be matched, dollar for dollar, up to $50,000 for our capital campaign to restore the Tremont House located at the corner of East Main St and N. West St. (housing Leonard's Pharmacy for many years).
Sandusky County Communities Foundation Executive Director Cate Knipp stated that a donor to the foundation expressed an interest in the restoration of the Tremont House.  The Sandusky County Communities Foundation is challenging our historical society to raise $50,000 by December 15, 2015.

The historical significance of The Tremont House, and recognition that it is an architectural treasure, has been cast - not in stone, but in bronze - on an Ohio Historical Marker.  The Marker was acquired thanks to a grant from the William G.
